The School
York Business School was officially launched in 2018 following over 25 years of the delivery of Business and Management education at York St John University. York Business School is an ambitious and innovative business school where students at the centre of everything that we do. We have over 3,000 students across our suite of programmes running in York, London and in partnership with our National and International partners.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant portfolios in both Fashion Marketing and Business Management, who is able to teach digital literacy across social media, AR, AI and User experience, with the ability to teach quantitative research methods and other business management subjects. As a large school teaching a range of programmes there are lots of opportunities to get involved in different subject areas and be part of a thriving and growing academic and research culture.
Required Skills and Experience
Candidates will have expertise in teaching Fashion Marketing and be willing to teach across Business Management at undergraduate level. Digital literacy in social media marketing is vital while some experience with AI, AR and user experience would be advantageous. Experience of teaching quantitative research methods and dissertation supervision as well as other general Business Management areas would be preferred. Industry Experience in the area of Fashion Marketing would be of interest.
The majority of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings, across both subject areas, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. We are passionate about our students and they are at the forefront of everything we do. We work to ensure that our courses are delivered in partnership with industry, embedding work-readiness, practical skills. The successful candidate will also be supported in developing a solid research profile in management or their related field.
