In addition, the Centre facilitates a range of knowledge exchange activities through a variety of student placement &amp; volunteering opportunities, continuous professional development (CPD) and strategic partnerships. Our research focuses on addressing key societal challenges with the aim of driving meaningful, positive, and sustainable change within diverse communities. Based on the Communities Centre reception, the post holder will be a key member of the admin/reception team.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>The Role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will deliver and maintain professional administrative processes and excellent customer service that effectively assist Centre clients, staff and placement students. This role will create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors within the Centre and you will maintain the highest standards of customer service to contribute towards a positive experience for those using our services.&nbsp;</p><p>As part of this role you will be responsible for welcoming visitors to the Centre, taking payments and responding to enquiries professionally and courteously, in-person, over the telephone and by email. You will be expected to complete reception related administration bookings such as allocating room booking requests and provide administrative support to Centre staff such as the Co-ordinators and Centre Management team.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Please note this is a flexible role and the shift pattern may vary on a week-by-week basis and will be dependent on the needs of the Centre. Evening work will be required. Reporting to the Head of Executive Education, you will manage a portfolio of opportunities from initial enquiry through to delivery, helping to develop high-quality CPD, short courses and bespoke programmes that meet employer and professional learning needs.&nbsp;</p><p>Acting as a key link between strategy and delivery, you will work with academic Schools and Professional Services colleagues to assess opportunities, develop proposals, support pricing and costing activity, and coordinate programme development. You will also contribute market insight and intelligence to support portfolio growth and future opportunities.&nbsp;</p><p>This is a varied role requiring excellent people skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.</p><h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong></span></h3><p>You will have experience of managing projects, programmes, partnerships or business development activity, with the ability to progress complex work from concept through to delivery. Experience of developing services, programmes or solutions in response to customer, stakeholder or employer needs is essential.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be an effective relationship builder with strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage confidently with senior leaders, academic colleagues and external partners.</p><p>You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, evaluating opportunities and balancing customer needs with operational, academic and financial considerations.
