Staff and students benefit from state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities designed to support innovative educational approaches and simulation-based learning.</p><p>The School also offers opportunities to contribute to continuing professional development (CPD) provision and to engage in interdisciplinary research collaborations across programmes and specialisms, supporting both academic development and professional impact.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the School of Science, Technology &amp; Health to work within the MSc Speech and Language Therapy programme &nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate will join the existing team to deliver course material. Experience of working with adults is desirable but not essential. We are putting inspirational learning and impactful research at the heart of this strategy, recognising our academic expertise as our greatest asset.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>The School</u></strong></p><p>The post holder will sit within the School of Science Technology and Health, which hosts several well-established Nursing and Allied Health pre-registration programmes both at undergraduate (level 6) and accelerated Masters (level 7).&nbsp;</p><p>The School is committed to growing our healthcare-related provision and Diagnostic Radiography is one of a number of new programme areas developed to enhance the portfolio further. Our excellent teaching and learning, together with our state-of-the-art facilities, and welcoming and inclusive ethos supports an exceptional student experience. Our imaging suite consists of state-of-the-art AI-powered 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner, ceiling mounted digital X-ray machine, stationary and portable ultrasound machine, functional near infrared spectroscopy machine, eye-tracking device, and a wide range of anthropomorphic-shaped body phantoms. In addition, we have a fully equipped computer laboratory tailored for image processing, simulation exercises, and tutorials.</p><p><strong><u>The role</u></strong></p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Diagnostic Radiographer to join our department with responsibility for delivering teaching, learning, and assessment across the programme and working with stakeholders across the region to support this new programme. The successful applicant should be able to&nbsp;demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience within Diagnostic Radiography specialising in cross-sectional imaging, especially in Computed Tomography,&nbsp;Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Ultrasound. A strong understanding of clinical reasoning, application to practice and contemporary healthcare is essential. An ability to demonstrate previous university and/or practice-based educational experience is also required.</p><p>The successful candidate will be expected either to be research active in their subject specialism or have an interest in becoming research active as part of their development.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Required skills and experience</u></strong></p><p>You must be registered with HCPC as a diagnostic radiographer, up-to-date professional registration, and recent academic and/or clinical practice experience in the UK is desirable.</p><p>You must be qualified to a minimum of level 6 and either hold an MSc, currently registered on a master&rsquo;s programme or be prepared to undertake one.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Additional information</u></strong></p><p>Please contact Dr Albert D.
