The Enterprise Centre forms a key part of this ecosystem, providing a vibrant environment where start-ups, social enterprises and growing businesses can access support, build networks and connect with the University&#39;s expertise.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>The Role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">We&#39;re looking for a proactive and people-focused manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our Enterprise Centre at Kings Manor. You&#39;ll be the friendly face of the Centre, building relationships with tenants, supporting a thriving business community, coordinating events, and ensuring the space runs smoothly and professionally every day.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">As the Centre grows, you&#39;ll help shape its future development by increasing engagement, attracting new tenants, strengthening partnerships, and creating opportunities for businesses to connect with the University&#39;s expertise, students and wider enterprise ecosystem.</p><p>Working within the Knowledge Exchange Office, you&#39;ll manage an Enterprise Centre Coordinator/Graduate Intern and collaborate with colleagues across the University, as well as businesses, entrepreneurs and community partners, to maximise the Centre&#39;s impact and success.</p><p><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship-builder who enjoys working with people and making things happen. You&#39;ll bring experience of managing a busy customer-facing environment, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to solve problems and juggle competing priorities. Through knowledge exchange, partnerships, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Executive Education, the team supports the University&#39;s ambition to deliver meaningful impact and create opportunities for growth.&nbsp;</p><h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>The Role</strong></span></h3><p>We are seeking a confident, commercially aware CPD and Executive Education Manager to support the growth of Executive Education across York St John University. Reporting to the Head of Executive Education, you will manage a portfolio of opportunities from initial enquiry through to delivery, helping to develop high-quality CPD, short courses and bespoke programmes that meet employer and professional learning needs.&nbsp;</p><p>Acting as a key link between strategy and delivery, you will work with academic Schools and Professional Services colleagues to assess opportunities, develop proposals, support pricing and costing activity, and coordinate programme development. You will also contribute market insight and intelligence to support portfolio growth and future opportunities.&nbsp;</p><p>This is a varied role requiring excellent people skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.</p><h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong></span></h3><p>You will have experience of managing projects, programmes, partnerships or business development activity, with the ability to progress complex work from concept through to delivery. Experience of developing services, programmes or solutions in response to customer, stakeholder or employer needs is essential.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be an effective relationship builder with strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage confidently with senior leaders, academic colleagues and external partners.</p><p>You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, evaluating opportunities and balancing customer needs with operational, academic and financial considerations.
