The team have stewardship of a number of digital assets around the University, with the main focus being on our award winning University website.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The team create attractive, accessible assets to support a wide range of stakeholders and functions within the University, with a particular focus on supporting student recruitment, using well planned and delivered user journeys to support our enquirers and applicants.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>The Role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We are looking for a confident and skilled people manager with excellent personal organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. The successful candidate will have skills and knowledge around the management of large and complex websites and their links with marketing, with knowledge of using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. They will have a good understanding of user journeys, web analytics and SEO and GEO.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of working in Higher Education or similar complex organisation is desirable but not essential.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">- Experience within team leadership and development</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">- Able to prove experience of managing large and complex websites</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">- Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">- Prior experience using web reporting tools</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">- Understanding of CMS and design for digital layout, composition and wireframes</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Additional information&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">For informal enquiries please contact Matthew Taylor at <a href="mailto:m.taylor1@yorksj.ac.uk">m.taylor1@yorksj.ac.uk</a></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Unfortunately this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship however we welcome your application if you are able to evidence right to work in the UK via an alternative route.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">It is anticipated that the selection process will include an interview. You&#39;ll be the friendly face of the Centre, building relationships with tenants, supporting a thriving business community, coordinating events, and ensuring the space runs smoothly and professionally every day.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">As the Centre grows, you&#39;ll help shape its future development by increasing engagement, attracting new tenants, strengthening partnerships, and creating opportunities for businesses to connect with the University&#39;s expertise, students and wider enterprise ecosystem.</p><p>Working within the Knowledge Exchange Office, you&#39;ll manage an Enterprise Centre Coordinator/Graduate Intern and collaborate with colleagues across the University, as well as businesses, entrepreneurs and community partners, to maximise the Centre&#39;s impact and success.</p><p><br></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship-builder who enjoys working with people and making things happen. You&#39;ll bring experience of managing a busy customer-facing environment, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to solve problems and juggle competing priorities.
