International Admissions & Compliance Officer

The field of international higher education is constantly changing and makes work in this area particularly fast-paced and interesting. International students bring culture and diversity to both the University and the local communities, and in this role, you will play a key part in bringing international students to the University. 

The International Admissions & Compliance Officer will work closely with the University's Visa & Compliance and Admissions teams, serving as an expert in international qualifications and entry requirements. You will deliver an efficient and professional service to our overseas applicants and agent partners from key markets, evaluating applications with an eye for quality as well as from the Home Office compliance perspective. You will make offers, conduct interviews, and issue documentation which international applicants will use to apply for their student visas. You will be able to work well under pressure and deliver results to specified Service Level Agreements.

You should have:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to handle a varied but demanding workload
  • Confidence and ability to deliver both positive and negative decisions and feedback to stakeholders
