The Team

The Fundraising and Alumni department are a small yet productive team of motivated individuals who work to provide support and services for our Alumni community and create opportunities to help our current students.  The role assists in key communications, Alumni events, Fundraising campaigns, Scholarship opportunities, school engagement & Alumni connections as well as funding opportunities. We work very closely with our committed and loyal Alumni and build relationships with many to support our current students and wider community. 

The Role

This role is a diverse role which offers an individual the opportunity to explore a number of fundraising projects and relationship development, as well as work in creating opportunities to engage our wider Alumni Community. 

This role is responsible for gaining and maintaining regular donors, stewardship of donors and scholarship recipients, fundraising campaigns and activities. Working alongside colleagues who will support you in delivering key outcomes. This role also involves reaching out to Trusts in order to seek support and building relationships with prospective supporters of the University.  

Required Skills and Experience

We are seeking an individual that has experience of working across multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and expectations, works well in a team as well as self-motivated. Experience of using databases is essential and enjoys working within a small team and challenging fundraising environment, keen to develop and introduce new ideas and reach out to the community.
